As a native of Traverse City, Bill Allgaier has been actively employed in the marine industry for over 35 years. He started his career in a family owned marine business in the late 60’s. He moved to the Harbor West Yacht basin in 1975 and has called that home for 32 years. He has enjoyed working in every aspect of the marine industry, including sales, service and managing several businesses over the years. He holds a 100 Ton USCG Masters license. He is currently a member of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors, American Boat & Yacht Counsel and Michigan Boating Industries Association.

Rick Garton enjoyed a career as an owner of a large manufacturing business in Indiana. His products were sold and distributed worldwide through his distribution network. Rick understands the needs of the cruising sail and power boater well, having transited various sail and power boats from Michigan to Florida, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean. He also enjoyed a trip from Glacier Bay Alaska to Southern California. He looks forward to being a partner in this business venture.

Jim and Lisa Favors have lived in Traverse City for over 25 years while raising 3 sons, working and becoming seasoned boaters on the Great Lakes. Jim recently retired from Merrill Lynch where he had been the branch manager and a financial consultant while Lisa retired from Knorr Marketing as a graphic designer in 2000. They spent the first year of retirement traveling the 6,000-mile Great Loop route on their boat, Kismet. Jim obtained his USCG Captain's licence. Now they have decided that it's time to invest their energies in their passion of boating as a second career. Over recent years they have become acquainted with Rick and Bill through similar boating interests and time spent in Charlevoix exchanging trip routes and thoughts on trawler designs and capabilities. If any of their friends or family were to describe their lifestyle they'd say that it revolved around boating, therefore their reason to help sell, promote, and represent HarborView Yacht Sales and the new Fathom Yacht.
